Singapore 2007

It was early this month when I had to make a business trip to Singapore and India.
Singapore, I've been to numerous times but India,
now thats an opportunity to see how things are run there.

As usual the trip starts out at KLIA where we were scheduled to leave late in the afternoon.
Took the chance of snapping the SIA plane that was going to fly us to Singapore. Notice the smile on it ? :)

When we finally arrived and checked into our hotel, it was already dinner time.
Our hotel was as usual right smack in Orchard road right next door to Takashimaya.

There were lots of people everywhere and like every year Orchard road was lighted up for the big Christmas celebrations. Walking around, you would be able to find some street performer showcasing their musical talents.
One that caught our attention was this Chinese 'Pipa' Player.

Well I did say the place was lighted up didn't I?

Merry Christmas 2008

YES! Finally got my PC up and running.
A little late for the Christmas wishes but what the heck.

Bird Park 2007

Was back at the bird park earlier this month.
The mission was to get birds in flight.
Can't say I was fully successful though, but here are some of em.

Christmas Has Came Early

It was wrap with the standard Pos Malaysia Packaging from Shashinki.com

This is after removing the Pos Malaysia Package

This is after removing 3! yes 3 layers of bubble wrap. Notice there is a plastic over it and more bubble wrap inside.

This is after removing the plastic and another 2 layers of bubble wrap.
Finally, what we have here is a box of a new Tamron Lens.
Even after all that wrapping the edges of the box still got a little dented.
Luckly, everything is still in one piece.

Basically, consisting of the lens, lens hood and its manual.

Here is the lens assembled with the hood.

Taken at less then a meter away.

The return of the dragon

Try a little effect of vignetting my picture.
Had a nice good contrast picture of the dragon fly shot a few weeks back.

Took this fighter as it was flying by my office. Its one cool jet thats for sure.

International Fireworks Competition 2007

Well was an impromptu trip. Even though we had an hour and a half buffer time, we still didn't make it in time. Took some shots by the side of the highway. So here are some lousy shots of the fireworks.

Heart shaped fireworks! Amazing how far fireworks tech has come.

Was not able to shoot much of the fireworks, so decided to shoot some of the sites at Cyberjaya
