Hong Kong : Day II

The rain didnt let up on the second day. It was basically raining from the time we left the hotel for breakfast all the way till night time. So we push some of our later plans earlier and decided to do shopping for the day and a little sightseeing up the peak later in the day.

This was taken 'blindly' while we were in the tram heading up the peak

They placed this at the arrival area at the top.
Paid a visit to the wax museum (Madame Tussauds) up there while waiting for night to come.
Tickets were at 120 hkd. Thought some of the wax statues didn't really look like the real person.

Night came and out came the camera, yup it was still raining or rather drizzled. Here is a shot that I took. The Avenue of Stars is just at the other end.

Haven't had dinner yet around 8pm saw this fridge loaded with stuff . Colourful too so snap snap.

Well thats pretty much how this wet, wet, wet day when. 3rd day in HK should be more interesting thought. Pictures in Disney.

cool shots, milo. you're right abt how some of the wax statues dont actually look like the real persons. went to mdm tussauds in london some years ago and was in fits of laughter. but some of them are pretty good though. snapped at one that looked like a dude in uniform while wondering what so special abt him...until i realised he was a REAL employee on a break! Ooo...the shame.
